Congratulations to our partners at Hispanos Unidos de Buffalo (HUB) and Acacia Network on the ribbon-cutting ceremony at La Plaza de Virginia in Buffalo, NY!
La Plaza de Virginia serves low-income seniors ages 55+ with 46 units of affordable housing for households at or below 60% of the area median income (AMI). There are 15 Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) units reserved for formerly homeless seniors at or below 30% of the AMI. This mixed-use development provides supportive services and community resources including care management, counseling, social day care, and more. This community features a 5,500 sq. ft. community Senior Service Center as well as a 4,000 sq. ft. communal courtyard, lounge, and laundry rooms on each floor.
We are proud to support partners who help build communities through safe, stable, and affordable housing for our most vulnerable populations.
