NEF is thrilled to see the positive impact of the holiday celebrations at Bridgeport Manor Senior Housing in Ohio! National Church Residences and the onsite resident service coordinator were able to use the $3,000 grant from NEF Housing Charities to hold multiple activities and celebrations for the residents.
The celebrations included a 50s, 60s, and 70s Throwback Prom in the community room with a catered lunch, door prizes, and a photo booth; each resident received an Easter basket filled with health and wellness products; and, finally, there was a Spring Bingo Party with new large-print bingo cards and a variety of prizes.
We are honored to have contributed to the entertainment and cheerfulness at these events for these very deserving senior residents!
