Congratulations to our partners at Alliance Housing, Inc. on the grand opening of 3301 Nicollet Ave in Minneapolis last week! From a vacant commercial storefront that the developer demolished years prior, this building brings sorely needed 64 affordable housing units to the Lyndale neighborhood.
As part of the efforts to provide safe, stable, and affordable housing, there are 24 units reserved for people transitioning from homelessness. All units are affordable for low-wage workers and very low-income households earning 30-50% of the Area Median Income (AMI). 3301 Nicollet Ave is fully accessible, secured with controlled entry, and energy efficient. This transit-friendly community is located in a highly walkable area and on a high-frequency bus route, which enables residents to easily commute to nearby jobs and opportunities in the city.
